Masry club of Port Said have landed Ghanaian Wilson Akakpo from Berekum Chelsea for three seasons.
The 22-year-old defender starred with Chelsea for the last two years after he moved from Hot Steel FC.
The Green Eagles also landed two players – Mohamed El-Arabi and Abdallah Shahat – from the league and Egypt Cup runner-up Smouha.
Under the helms of newly-appointed coach Tarek Yehia, the coastal team is preparing to return to Egyptian completions after more than two years of absence.
Masry football team has skipped the Egyptian Premier League since the Port Said disaster in February 2012, when 72 Ahly fans died following clashes with their hosts.
