ENNPI's winger Ahmed Refaat scored a late goal in injury time, giving his side a precious 3-2 win over Damanhour in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday.
Refaat's goal sent ENNPI to the top of standings with 16 points, just one point ahead of second placed Zamalek.
Damanhour made a perfect start to the game with an early goal, thanks to forward Hamada El-Ghanam who converted a penalty in the 6th minute of the game but ENPPI's forward Ahmed Sherwida scored the equaliser in the 26th minute.
Ahmed Refaat made it 2-1 for ENPPI in the 77th minute but midfielder Moustafa Bediwi equalised 9 minutes later.
Refaat found the net once again in injury time to boost his side to the win.
Elsewhere Ismaily claimed a 2-1 win over Wadi Degla thanks to Ghanaian striker's brace John Antwi in the 14th and 76th minutes of the game.
Degla's forward Hossam Arafat scored the consolation goal for his side with one minute remaining in regulation.
The game witnessed the injury of Degla's international keeper Amir Abdel-Hamid who failed to complete the last 10 minutes of the game.
Earlier in the day Ittihad El-Shorta were held to a 2-2 draw by Assiouty Sport in Cairo.
