The referee blows his final whistle, Sewe Sport gain a slender advantage ahead of next week's second leg

90 The referee signals four minutes of stoppage  time.

89 A mis-hit volley by Roger Assale goes high over as Sewe Sport push forward in the dying minutes .

87 At the other end, Ramadan Sobhi skips past his challenger and charge towards the area but the keeper rushes out in a timely manner to thwart him.

84 A shot hits Ahly's two central defenders and falls to substitute Franck Guiza, who fires home from close range after a defensive lapse to score with his first touch.

82 GOAL FOR SEWE SPORT!

79 Ahly make their third and final substitution. Walid Soliman, who was wasteful tonight, is replaced with Burkinabe attacking midfielder Moussa Yedan.

78 Trezeguet, who scored Ahly's goal, will miss the second leg after being booked for taking too much in a throw-in.

75 Garrido's substitutions instantly paid off. Ahly now look much better at the back and more clinical upfront.

72 Another substitution for Sewe Sport. Joseph Kameni makes way for Idrissa Halidou.

71 Sewe Sport make their first substitution. Cedric Kodjo replaces Essis Aka.

70 Ahly waste a chance to go ahead!! Walid Soliman is picked out unmarked by a cross from Sabri Rahil but his free header misses the target with the goal gaping.

67 Ahly now control possession as Sewe Sport appear downhearted by the equaliser, which came against the run of play.

64 Ahly notably improve after restoring parity.

62 Sewe Sport are punished for their wastefulness.

59 Ahly score against the run of play! A cross from the left finds Trezeguet at the far post. The midfielder chests the ball to Ramadan Sobhi, who heads the ball back to him to rifle home into the roof of the net. A great move!

59 GOAL FOR AHLY!!

57 Another clear-cut opportunity!! The defence fails to clear low cross from the left and the ball falls to Hermann Kouao but his side-footed effort goes wide with the goal at his mercy.

55 Koffi Kouame goes close for Sewe Sport!! He lets fly from distance and his effort narrowly misses the target.

54 Another chance for Sewe Sport! Ahmed Adel clears the danger following a goal-mouth scramble. The hosts look close to doubling their lead.

53 The lively Roger Assale swivels and sends a powerful shot from the edge of the area but Ahmed Adel dives to his right to block his effort.

51 A chance for Ahly but the referee awards Sewe Sport a free-kick after the keeper is apparently obstructed.

49 Walid Soliman becomes Ahly's lone striker after Meteb was substituted. Abdel-Fadil plays as a left-back instead of Sabri Rahil, who moves to the middle, as coach Carlos Garrido seeks to close down spaces on the flank.

46 Sewe Sport's Essis Aka wastes a clear-cut chance!! He breaks clear from the left but his low shot is too weak to trouble Ahmed Adel. What a chance for the hosts.

46 Ahly make a double substitution. Versatile defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil replaces midfielder Ahmed Khairy after recovering from injury and youngster Ramadan Sobhi comes on instead of ineffective striker Emad Meteb.

30 Emad Meteb's ensuing free-kick is easily collected by the keeper.

29 Sewe Sport's Essis Baudelaire Aka is handed a yellow card for a foul on Walid Soliman.

16:30 Thirty minutes remaining before kick-off. What are your expectations for the game?

16:15 Garrido only has 17 players available for the two games, with Ahly's African squad severely affected by the retirement of some key players and the departure and injury of others

16:00 Ahly, who overcame Cameroon's Coton Sport in the semi-final, had the upper hand in two group-stage meetings with Sewe Sport, holding them to a 1-1 away draw before claiming a 1-0 home win

15:30 The Confederation Cup has eluded Egyptian clubs in its new and old formats, with Ismaily going the closest when they reached the final in 2000 before losing to Algeria's JS Kabylie, giving Ahly an extra incentive to lift the trophy

14:30 Ahly's Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido opted to play with 4-3-3 formation, deploying three central midfielders and two playmakers behind striker Emad Meteb

14:00 Ahly visit Sewe Sport for Saturday's first-leg in Abidjan before hosting them in Cairo on 6 December

13:00 The Red Devils suffered a huge disappointment when they were knocked out of the Champions League preliminaries at the hands of the unfancied Ahly Benghazi

12:00 Ahly will be eyeing the only title missing in their trophy-laden cabinet when they face Sewe Sport in a two-legged African Confederation Cup final, having been denied the chance to add to their record tally of eight Champions League triumphs
