After the goalless draw with Zamalek in the 11th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday, Ismaily coach Heron Ricardo praised the performance of the Whites' players during the game.
"I appreciated the Zamalek players' performance throughout the game as they fought for the ball and had more scoring chances," Ricardo was quoted as saying on a sports television programme after the game.
"I didn't feel comfortable with my players during the game but the defence performance made me feel somewhat satisfied," the Ismaily coach added.
Meanwhile, Ismaily football manager Ashraf Khedr revealed that the team has more young players and that they didn't meet the coach’s expectations against Zamalek on Thursday.
"We have more young players in the team's squad that couldn’t match the experience of Zamalek stars during the game," Khedr said.
