Ismaily and Wadi Degla failed to claim home wins in the Egyptian Premier League on Satuyrday to slip to sixth and fourth place respectively in the table.
The Dervishes failed to overcome Haras El-Hodoud in Ismailia to play out a goalless draw with the military side while Degla lost their second game in row against Gouna.
Visiting Gouna took the lead through Mahmoud Sayed in the 27th minute before Stanley Ohawuchi equalized two minutes from half time.
Sayed, however, completed his brace when he restored Gouna's lead in the 79th minute to lead the coastal side to a 2-1 win.
Elsewhere, Alexandria's Ittihad slumped to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Maqassa, who had Amr Barakat to thank for the sole goal of the game which came after 18 minutes.
Newcomers Damanhour extended their losing streak to five games, failing to hold on to an Abou Kone 16th-minute goal to lose 2-1 to Dakhleya following a Hossam Poalo first-half brace in Damanhour.
Another top-flight debutants in Assiouty Sport failed to claim a home win as well, having failed to preserve their slender lead, which came through Mohamed Ibrahim Sayed in the 10th minute, as Hermann Kouao equalized for Smouha two minutes before the break.
Ittihad El-Shorta managed to come back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Petrojet after Shimelis Bekele and Shehab Ahmed gave the visitors a two-goal lead in the first half
But Islam Abou-Sleima and Nana Poku ensured Shorta were denied their third straight victory as Degla drew for their third game on the trot.
