Amr Zaki set to start his rehab program
“A delay the Egyptian star’s visa is the only reason he didn't start treatment early,” Zamalek’s doctor, Mostafa Al-Munairy, said.
“Zaki could undergo surgery if he doesn't recover from his knee ligament injury during rehab in Germany,” the Whites’ doctor added.
The Zamalek striker, whose recovery may be prolonged, will be sorely missed at the showdown against Ahly on 31 December.
Zamalek are in the driving seat of the Egyptian Premier League with 27 points, while rivals Ahly are fifth with 19 points and three games in hand.
