A still from Petrojet's African Confederation Cup game against South Sudan's Ghazal on Friday
Egyptian side Petrojet are close to securing a place at the African Confederation Cup second round after securing a 1-0 victory at South Sudan's Al-Ghazal in the first leg of the preliminary round on Friday.
Midfielder Mostafa Shebeita scored the winner after 30 minutes when he towered above his marker to head home a left-wing cross.
Petrojet will be in pole position to advance to the next round when they host Ghazal in the second leg in a fortnight.
Petrojet's only Confederation Cup appearance was in 2010 when they suffered a last-16 exit.
