Ibrahim Hassan comes in for fierce criticism following riots
After defeating Arab Contractors 3-2 in the 22nd week of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday, Zamalek football director Ibrahim Hassan says his side will gain the title.
“I am confident the Egyptian League title will be sent to Zamalek this season” Ibrahim Hassan told a press conference after the Arab Contractors game.
The 44-year-old football director confirmed also that Zamalek players will work harder to earn points without paying attention to their rival’s performance.
“The champion team should concentrate on the three points of the game and not pay attention to their foe’s results” Hassan added.
The former Ahly and Zamalek winger concluded his press conference by thanking his players and the team’s supporters for their efforts in the 3-2 victory over Arab Contractors earning a three point gap with their archrivals Ahly.
Zamalek is topping the Egyptian League table with 46 points, three points ahead of runners-up Ahly.
