Zamalek cannot take anything for granted as they face a tough clash against Morocco's FUS Rabat, winger Ahmed Eid said.
The veteran 34-year-old has been one of Zamalek's key performers this season, with his trickery down the left causing constant menace to opponents.
The Cairo giants are seeking to win their first-ever Confederation Cup title as they make their first appearance in the competition since its new format was introduced in 2004.
They host FUS in Suez in the first leg of the Confederation Cup round of 16 on Sunday, having brushed aside Rwanda's Rayon Sports in the preliminary round with a 6-1 aggregate win.
"Sunday's match will be so difficult. We are facing a very good side who boast many excellent players," Eid said on Zamalek's official website.
"We have to focus on getting a good result before the second leg. Our matches against North African sides are always strong and tense."
