Ahly coach Juan Carlos Garrido has announced the team's 19-man squad for Thursday's game against Damanhour, match-day 26 of the Egyptian Premier League.

The Spaniard excluded defender Saad Samir and playmaker Walid Soliman due to injuries, as well as Sabri Rahil, Mohamed Nagi 'Gedo' and Islam Roshdy.

Another highlight of the squad is the return of defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil and forward Emad Meted who have recovered from their injuries.

"There is not rift with Meteb. He is equal with his other teammates. The ones who want to play must do their best to get a place in the matches," Garrido told reporters in the club on Tuesday.

Ahly defeated Damanhour 4-2 in the first round.
