Egypt's Ahly, Zamalek to face Tunisian, DR Congo clubs in Confederation Cup

Egyptian giants Ahly and Zamalek have discovered their opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup round 16 after the draw was held on Tuesday morning.

Title holders Ahly, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Moghreb Tetouan of Morocco on Saturday, will be competing against Tunisia's Club Africain.

Meanwhile Zamalek, who are bidding for their first Cup, will clash with Sanga Balende of DR Congo.        

The only Egyptian side left in the CAF Champions League, Smouha, will take on Moghreb Tetouan in the group stage.                        

The full draw of the CAF Confederation Cup is as follows:

Ahly (Egypt) vs Club Africain (Tunisia)
Esperance (Tunisia) vs Hearts of Oak (Ghana)
AC Leopards (Congo) vs Warri Wolves (Nigeria)
CS Sfaxien (Tunisia) vs ASEC Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire)
AS Vita (DR Congo) vs Stade Malien (Mali)
Orlando Pirates (South Africa) vs AS Kaloum (Guinea)
Zamalek (Egypt) vs Sanga Balende (DR Congo)
Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia) vs Raja Athletic Club (Morocco)
