Ahly coach Fathi Mabrouk has expressed delight over his second successive winning match in the Egyptian Premier League since he replaced Spanish Juan Carlos Garrido.

"The players' performance is becoming better and better. They are sticking to the technical staff's instructions and appeared very confident today," Mabrouk commented after the team defeated Talae El-Geish 4-0 on Sunday, the 29th match-day.

The titleholders are now eight points behind the 60 points of leaders Zamalek, who are playing Masry on Monday in the same round.

"Ahly have a team full of experiences and skills. I only helped them to let go of their stress," Mabrouk added via the club's official website.

Mabrouk also boosted the team to win Al-Nasr 3-0 Thursday in his first appearance after Garrido was sacked following a string of poor results including a stunning African Champions League elimination.

"I am still hoping the Egyptian Football Association agrees on our demand to postpone Wednesday's game against El-Dakhleya due to our continental commitments," Mabrouk stated.

Ahly, the first Egyptian team to win the African Confederation Cup, will be competing in this season's round of 16 against Tunisian Club Africain Sunday.
