Helmy Toulan has been fired from his post as Petrojet coach one day after Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat against Masry in Suez in the Egyptian Premier League.
Toulan produced a fine start with the Petrojet team in the first round, but it struggled with several defeats in the second round of the League.
Petrojet conceded four straight defeats in its four last matches to lie eight on the League table with 29 points.
Egypt's ex-under 17 coach, Mohamed Omar, was named Petrojet’s new head.
Omar will start his mission with Petrojet with a tough game against Ahly on Day 24 of the League on 15 June.
