Ahly goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy is ready to return to action in Thursday's league clash against Wadi Degla after recovering from an injury, the club announced.
"Ekramy is ready to play again starting from the Wadi Degla match after recovering and featuring in training without problems," Ahly's doctor Khaled Mahmoud told the club's official website late on Monday.
"The technical staff will decide to depend on him in the coming match or not," he added.
The Reds' first choice keeper, Ekramy, wasn't available for recent matches due to a knee injury he picked during the 2nd leg of the CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 against Tunisia's Club Africain earlier in June.
Ahly's Nigerian striker Peter Ebimobowe will remain on the sidelines against Wadi Degla as he is still suffering from a muscular injury.
Title holders Ahly are second in the Egyptian league table with 68 points, nine points behind leaders Zamalek who are apparently close to winning it for the first time in ten years.
