Egyptian club ENPPI have officially appointed former Egypt and Ahly star Hani Ramzy as their new coach, starting from the new season.
Ramzy will replace veteran coach Tarek El-Ashri who resigned from his post after a heavy 4-2 league loss to Haras El-Hodoud in June.
Assistant coach Hussein Amin was appointed as a caretaker coach for the petroleum club until the end of the season.
ENPPI currently lies third at the Egyptian Premier League table with 69 points, 14 behind leaders Zamalek.
The 46-year old, Ramzy, began his coaching career with ENPPI in the 2006/07 season.
In 2008, he took charge of Egypt's Olympic team before leaving in 2012 for Belgium to take the manager's job at Lierse for one season.
The former Werder Bremen Kaiserslautern player was boss of Wadi Degla club last season.
