After the 1-1 draw with ENPPI in the final matchday of the Egyptian Premier League, Ahly coach Fathi Mabrouk praised the performance of his team's players during the game.

Two stunning goals were the highlight of Ahly's 1-1 Egyptian League draw with ENPPI, in a meaningless affair after Zamalek had already been crowned champions with two matches to spare.

ENPPI midfielder Salah Soliman scored a wonderful acrobatic goal from Amr El-Halawani's cross with just three minutes left, before striker Amr Gamal replied with another outstanding goal from inside the box, deep into stoppage time.

"I am satisfied with the game's result as well as the players' performance," Mabrouk was quoted as saying on the club's official website after the game.

"The two teams played a good game while Ahly lost more score chances but the players hurry to score suspended their efforts," he added.

Ahly played the game without calling the regular squad as coach Mabrouk decided to rest them as well as give a chance for the substituted players to appear.

The Red Devils will face Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia on 8 August in the 4th round of the CAF Confederation Cup Group A.

"I hope for the team to achieve a positive result against Etoile du Sahel after the performance against ENPPI," the Ahly tactician concluded.
