Zamalek coach Jesualdo Ferreira has asserted that his team does not fear arch-rivals Ahly, with two possible finals against them coming up.
"The team don't fear facing Ahly in any competition. We are only focused on winning trophies," Ferreira said on Sunday in the post-match press conference after beating Orlando Pirates
The Egyptian Premier League champions won 4-1 against the South Africans at home to finish top of group B in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
"We could have won with a better score, although Orlando are a powerful team," the 69-year-old tactician stated.
Zamalek, who finished the group stage with 15 points, will face Group A runners-up Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in the semis, while the Pirates, who finished second with 12 points, take on Ahly in the other last-four clash.
"An all Egyptian final is on the cards for the 2015 Orange CAF Confederation Cup," the CAF website read on Mondayl.
"We will stop thinking of Confederation Cup for now as we will be only focusing on the Smouha game in the Egypt Cup," Ferreira concluded.
In the other possible Cairo derby final match-up, Zamalek will take on Smouha Thursday, one day after Ahly play Petrojet in the other Egypt Cup semifinal.
