Zamalek striker Ahmed “Mido” Hossam and winger Mahmoud “Shikabala” Abdel-Razik will head to the police station on Monday to reconcile with three students who accused them of assault and damaging their car.

The incident happened six months ago when the three students asked the Pharaohs' duo to take a picture with them. Mido agreed while Shikabala refused, triggering an argument which developed into a fight. An Egyptian court sentenced the players to one month in prison on Saturday.

Mido rejoined his boyhood club in January after ending an 11-year career in European football, but was not able to play due to an administrative error Zamalek committed when registering him in their squad.

Shikabala has been a revelation this season, notching 13 league goals to top the scorers’ chart, as well as producing a series of impressive displays. He has reportedly been linked with a Zamalek exit at the end of the current season.
