Ahly midfielder Hossam Ashour is ready for the Maqassa game in the fourth match day of the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday after recovering from a groin injury.

The Red Devils skipper missed the 1-0 win over Petrojet in the Premier League on Sunday after sustaining the injury during the Ghazl El-Mahala clash last week.

Ahly are bidding to continue their perfect start to the Egyptian Premier League season as they are leading the table with a 9 points after three games.

The Cairo giants finished last season with one trophy – the Egypt Super Cup – after losing the league and cup to arch-rivals Zamalek.
