Ismaily's former international duo Hosni Abd-Rabou and Mahmoud 'Shikabala' Abdel-Razek produced strong performances on Thursday when the Dervishes thrashed Ittihad of Alexandria 5-0 in a league game.
Abd-Rabou opened the scoring for his side in the 18th minute when he met a pinpoint cross from Shikabala with a nice header.
It was the first goal for the veteran in 11 months as the classy midfielder was sidelined for several months due to a knee injury.
However, Shikabala who scored his maiden goal with Ismaily last week against Haras El-Hodoud, was on target again against Ittihad of Alexandria after scoring the fourth goal for his side following excellent individual work.
The on-loan winger skipped past his marker and drove the ball into the net to make it 4-0.
New signing Marwan Mohsen, Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Banahene, and Mostafa Mahmoud completed the rout on the 22nd, 40th and 81st minutes respectively.
Thursday's win sent Ismaily to second place on the league table with ten points, two behind leaders El-Dakhleya.
The Egyptian Football Association have postponed Ahly, Zamalek and Smouha games in the Egyptian league until the end of the ongoing World Cup qualifiers.
