Egyptian League outfit Wadi Degla announced that they have signed a two-year contract with midfielder Hassan Mostafa in a free transfer after finalising his deal with Zamalek at the end of the previous season.

The 31-year-old midfielder joined Zamalek in 2009 for free and signed a three-season deal, but the Whites’ officials didn’t show an interest in extending the player’s stay with them for another spell.

Mostafa fractured his hand and underwent bone surgery last month after sustaining the injury in the midst of a clash between Zamalek former coach Hossam Hassan and a programme director from local television after the game against Masry in round 26 of the Egyptian Premier League.

Wadi Degla management announced the deal with the former Ahly and Saudi side El-Wehda player to take part in their squad next season after serving three years at Zamalek.
