Young Africans of Tanzania have settled on 9 April as the date for hosting Egypt's Ahly in the first leg of the African Champions League, round of 16.

"Young Africans officially informed us that the first leg will be on 9 April," Ahly said in a statement via its official website Saturday.

The Cairo giants will host the Tanzanian team in the second leg 10 days later.

The Reds made it to the last 16 after defeating Recreativo of Angola 2-0 on aggregate, while Young Africans went through after beating Rwanda's APR.

Ahly's archrivals, Zamalek, will be also participating in the same round of the prestigious tournament, taking on Algerian side MO Bejaia.
