Ahly Dutch manager Martin Jol has called out all the big guns to join the trip to Tanzania to face the Young Africans in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 16 on Saturday.
Jol excluded defender Mohamed Naguib, midfielder Saleh Gomaa and Ahmed Hamdy from the team's squad, which is traveling to Tanzania on Tuesday.
Recently recovered from a muscular injury, Sherif Ekramy has been called after being sidelined since February, with substitute keeper Ahmed Adel replacing him the previous games.
The Young Africans of Tanzania have settled on 9 April as the date for hosting Egypt's Ahly in the first leg of the African Champions League round of 16. The Cairo giants will host the Tanzanian team in the second leg 10 days later.
The Reds made it to the last 16 after defeating Recreativo of Angola 2-0 on aggregate, while the Young Africans went through after beating Rwanda's APR.
