Egypt's Ahly arrived in Tanzania on Wednesday ahead of the anticipated match against the Young Africans in the CAF Champions League round of 16.
The Cairo giants will be hosted by the Tanzanian team in the first leg on Saturday, before playing the return match in Cairo 10 days later.
The Reds made it to the last 16 after defeating Recreativo of Angola 2-0 on aggregate, while the Young Africans went through after beating Rwanda's APR.
Despite the long flight, Ahly will start their preparations for Saturday's match immediately on Wednesday, according to the club's official website.
League champions Zamalek are also representing Egypt in the African Champions League this season alongside runners-up Ahly, who are the record-holders of the continent's primary club competition with eight titles under their belt.
Zamalek will host MO Bejaia of Algeria in the same round on Saturday.
