Egypt’s National Sports Council (NSC) have approved the new Ismaliy board Monday naming Ra’fat Abdel-Azim as chairman.
Abdel-Azim’s board is the third in six weeks for Ismailia-based side after Abou-ElHassan and Yehia El-Komey as members surprisingly quit their posts due to the club’s financial crisis.
The new board will face a hard to-do list, including deciding on the demands from the team’s key players, like Hosni Abd-Rabou and Abdullah El-Said, to be released from their contracts because they haven’t received their salaries.
The new technical staff, under the helm of, Hossam Hassan and his twin brother, Ibrahim, football director, also threatened to leave the Yellow Castle if the players’ demands aren’t fulfilled.
