Egyptian giants Ahly are set to play Italy's AS Roma in a friendly game in May, local reports said on Friday.
The match will take place in the United Arab Emirates on 20 May, according to Ahram's Sports website.
Ahly are yet to officially confirm the news but Ahram said they are expected to hold a news conference soon to reveal all the details regarding the match.
Both sides met in a summer friendly game in 2002 in Cairo, with Ahly claiming a 2-1 victory over a side boasting the likes of former Argentina great Gabriel Batistuta and Italian striker Vincenzo Montella, who scored a penalty.
However, the Giallorossi had the upper hand in another match in Cairo in 2008, defeating Ahly 3-0 courtesy of goals from Mauro Esposito, Matteo Brighi and David Pizarro.
Egypt's Mohamed Salah has been one of Roma's best performers since joining last summer as the club battle for a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
