The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Monday that following crowd disturbances at last Tuesday’s match with Kima Aswan, Ahly will be required to play a home match on away soil and pay for all damage its supporters caused to the Cairo stadium.

“Ahly must fund repairs of all damage caused to the Cairo stadium stands,” EFA competition committee president Amer Hussien stated on the association's official website.

The match that ended 4-0 to the Egyptian Premier League champions witnessed clashes between local police and Ahly’s hardcore supporters, Ultras Ahlawy, leaving more than 140 injured.

The Red Devils will play ENPPI on Wednesday 21 September.
