Zamalek manager Mohamed Helmi voiced confidence regarding his side's chance when they face Sundowns away in the Champions league group stage phase on Wednesday.

The South African side stunned Zamalek 2-1 at home, two weeks earlier, to top the group B with six points, three ahead of the Cairo Giants who are looking to regain the group summit with a win in Pretoria.

"The clash will be very tough given the importance of the game for the two sides," Helmi told reporters on Monday.

"We will be looking for a win in Pretoria and I am sure that my team are capable to earn a win away."

The Zamalek boss admitted that his side will be affected by the absence of several key players but he says he is confident that the substitute players will be capable to fill the void left by the absentees.

Team starters Mohamed Koffi, Mohamed Ibrahim and Tarek Hamed will all miss Wedenesday's clash for different reasons.

"The absence of this trio is a great loss but we have good substitutes.'' he concluded.
