The competitions' committee of the Egyptian Football Association decided on Monday to postpone Zamalek’s game against Wadi Degla, which had been scheduled for Saturday 15 October, following Degla’s bus crash. The match has been rescheduled for 19 January 2012.
The Degla team bus crashed on the Cairo-Ismailya highway, as they were returning from a friendly game against Ismaily in preparation for the Zamalek clash.
While no players were seriously injured, Degla’s Belgian Walter Meeuws was severely injured and is in a critical condition.
