Zamalek have completed the signing of ENPPI winger Ahmed Refaat after he penned a five-year-contract with the Cairo giants, the club announced on Tuesday.

"Ahmed Refaat signed a five-year deal with Zamalek" read a statement on the club's official website on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old is Zamalek's 13^th signing in the close season as the club spent big to further enhance their squad after losing the Egyptian Premier League title to arch rivals Ahly last season.

However, they did not end the season empty-handed, having beaten Ahly 3-1 in the Egypt Cup final.  

Zamalek are also reportedly close on signing Basel midfielder Ahmed Hamoudi, who spent the last season on loan at the club.
