ENPPI and Ittihad drop points in league start

ENPPI were held to a 3-3 draw by Gouna; Dakhleya snatch a point in their first Egyptian Premier League appearance after drawing with Ittihad of Alexandria 1-1 on Saturday

Gouna took the lead at the PetroSport Stadium, with Minusu Buba scoring in the 22ndminute, but hosts ENPPI reacted with three consecutive goals from Ahmed Abdel-Zaher, 34, Adel Mostafa, 36, and Ahmed Sobhi 49.

But the Egypt Cup winners threw away their two-goal lead in the last 10 minutes allowing Nigerian striker Minusu Buba 84, and Ibrahim Al-Hilali, 90+4, to restore parity and get a point out of this game.

Meanwhile newly-promoted side Dakhleya held Ittihad of Alexandria to a 1-1 home draw.

Mohamed Al-Morsy scored in the 76th minute for the Alexandrian giants to cancel Mohamed Yehia's early lead, 5, and avoid his side an awful start of its campaign.
