Ahly and Mauritania striker Dominique Da Silva will undergo medical tests on Saturday to discover the seriousness of a muscle injury he sustained during the 3-1 win over Dakhleya on Wednesday.

The Red Devils’ attacker Emad Meteb suffered a minor injury to his foot during the game and technical staff hope to have him fit for the game against ENPPI on Monday.

Initial medical tests showed defender Mohammed Naguib will be out of action for four to six weeks with a muscle tear he sustained during the 2-0 win over Ittihad of Alexandria in the forth match of the season.

Ahly’s new signing midfielder Walid Soliman joined Thursday’s training session despite suffering from a shoulder problem as initial tests showed he would be fit to take part in the game against his former side ENPPI next week.

Ahly’s second consecutive victory put them on the top of the 19-team table with 11 points, four ahead of their archrivals Zamalek who play Smouha tonight.
