Zamalek midfielder Ibrahim Salah could miss the Saturday game against Smouha on the 23rd match day of the Egyptian Premier League due to a calf injury, though striker Bassem Morsi is fit for the game after recovering from his own injury.

"Ibrahim Salah participated in Thursday's training, but he is still suffering from the injury and he will likely not be fit to play in the game," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The team will hold a closed camp in Alexandria in preparation for the game against Smouha."

On the other hand, striker Bassem Morsi trained well with the team on Thursday and is fit for the game against Smouha after recovering from an injury that sidelined him from the previous training sessions.

Zamalek are third in the Egyptian Premier League team table with 40 points after playing 19 games, while Smouha are 5th with 37 points.
