Zamalek goalkeepers’ coach Ahmed Soliman denies the recent reports that claimed head coach Hassan Shehata has reached an agreement to take the charge of UAE club, Baniyas.

“These rumours are not at all true,” Soliman told Zamalek’s official website on Saturday.

The former Egypt coach, Shehata, was also linked recently with coaching the Kuwaiti national team, especially considering he hasn't signed his contract yet with Zamalek, due to financial concerns.

It was reported that the 62-year-old coach has threatened to leave the Whites if the board failed to solve the aggravating problem of the players’ salaries, which the goalkeepers' coach denies.

“Shehata is staying with Zamalek. He doesn’t think at all to leave the club this season under any circumstances,” added Soliman, who also coached under Shehata for the Egyptian national football team.

Zamalek board member, Tarek Ghonem, has also denied any rift with coach Shehata; insisting that the club will solve the players’ dues problem before the end of November.
