Ahly teammates hit back at Coulibaly in heated Twitter exchange

Several current and former Ahly players hit back at Souleymane Coulibaly after the Ivorian striker accused them of not speaking up against what he claimed was the club's bad treatment of its footballers.

Coulibaly irked Egyptian giants Ahly and their supporters by going AWOL, saying he was treated as a "slave" and that his Christian family "didn’t feel comfortable practicing their religion in the country".

Ahly vehemently denied Coulibaly's accusations, insisting the 22-year-old made up claims that have no reality only because he sought to terminate his contract.

He also incensed some of his teammates on Twitter, addressing the other foreign duo in Ahly's roster – Nigerian forward Junior Ajayi and Tunisian left-back Ali Maaloul.

"@JuniorAjayi7 @AliMaaloulOff Have you forgotten all the shit you said about @AlAhly? And how you were complaining about how we were treated?" he wrote.
