Ahly and Zamalek’s upcoming games in the Egyptian Premier League have been postponed by the Egyptian Football Association due to preparations by both teams for the CAF Champions League games, especially after their poor results in last week’s round.

Zamalek's game against Petrojet on the 32nd match day of the Egyptian Premier League has been postponed from 25 to 27 June.

The Whites' game against Ittihad of Alexandria on the 33rd match day has also been delayed, and will be played on 5 July.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) also postponed Ahly's game against Masry on the 33rd match day of the league, with the match set for 4 or 5 July instead of 27 June.

Ahly, who are second in their Group D ranking with 7 points, will face Zambian side and group leaders Zanaco in the 5th round of Group D games in the CAF Champions League on Saturday.

Zamalek, who are third in Group B with 5 points, will face CAPS United of Zimbabwe on Sunday.
