Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry announced that his team is ready to face Zambia's Zanaco in the 5th round of the CAF Champions League group stage games on Saturday, saying they've come to seize the points that would boost their position in the Group D ranking.

"We are ready for the game against Zanaco, to win and snatch the three points to improve our position in the group's ranking," El-Badry was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

The Cairo giants are second in Group D ranking with seven points..

"We know well the power of Zanaco players so we are working to improve our position in the group's ranking, to book a place in the quarterfinals," El-Badry added.

"We will face Zanaco to get the game's points as [our] players are doing their best in trainings," the Ahly coach said.

Zanaco have 10 points from four games, three ahead of Ahly and four clear of Morocco's Wydad Casablanca. Coton Sport lie at the bottom with no points following four defeats.
