The Ahly squad is free of injuries and ready for the CAF Champions League semi-final games against Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel, football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz said on Monday.
The Red Devils, who defeated Esperance of Tunisia in the quarter-finals, will face Etoile du Sahel in the first leg of the continental tournament's semi-finals next week, with the second leg to be played next month.
"All the players are fit for the game against Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Champions League semis, including Walid Soliman and Walid Azaro," Abdel-Hafiz told a radio programme.
"We're not suffering from any injuries in the squad, although the defender Saad Samir's situation will be determined in coming hours."
Samir was sidelined after an injury in the last game against Esperance on Saturday.
Abdel-Hafez said that the Confederation of African Football has not yet informed Ahly of the date of the match against Etoile du Sahel, although that information may be provided late on Monday.
"We have to respect Etoile du Sahel, as they have talented players," said the football director. "Moreover, they haven't lost any matches in the tournament until now."
In Sousse on Sunday, Etoile booked a last-four berth with a quarter-finals win over Libya's Ahly Tripoli, beating them 2-0 on aggregate.
Ahly advanced after stunning Tunisian side Esperance 4-3 on aggregate on Saturday.
