Zamalek lost 3-0 to Smouha in their previous Egyptian Premier League game (Ahram)
Zamalek will be hoping to end their three-match winless streak when they meet a Wadi Degla side managed by former boss Mido in the Egyptian league on Sunday.
Returning to Cairo Stadium for the first time since 2014, league hopefuls Zamalek will be looking to bounce back following last week's disappointing 3-0 defeat by Smouha.
The Whites, however, should be facing no problem beating Degla, who currently lie just one point off the relegation zone in 15th position.
But Zamalek will have to do without regular keeper Ahmed El-Shennawi due to severe flu, with the understudy Mahmoud Gennesh almost assured to start the game.
Syrian right-back Alaa Al Shbli makes the squad for the first time since joining in the close season, with Mohamed El-Shami selected after playing only once against El-Entag El-Harby in the opening league fixture.
Mido, on the other hand, will be looking for his first win in five games, with his last victory coming against Enppi in mid-September.
Zamalek, who last won the league title in 2015, are currently sixth of the league table with nine points from six games.
