Ahly's Egyptian winger Moemen Zakareya has joined Saudi side Ahly Jeddah on a six-month loan deal, the Cairo giants announced on Thursday.

Zakareya joined Ahly from Egyptian outfit ENPPI in January 2015, helping the club win two league titles and its first Egypt Cup trophy in 10 years last season.

The Saudi club offered $400,000 to hire the 29-year-old, who will be linked with the club until the end of this season.

Zakareya is Ahly's third player to join the Saudi League after veteran striker Emad Metaab and winger Ahmed El-Sheikh, who joined Al-Taawon and Al-Ettifaq respectively earlier this week.  

Ahly Jeddah are second on the league table with 31 points, three points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
