Former Ahly skipper Hossam Ghaly has ended his contract with Saudi side Al-Nassr amicably, the 36-year-old player announced late Monday.
Last August, Ghaly moved to Al-Nassr to start a second spell with the Saudi side, which he played for in 2010.
Ghaly, who started his career with Ahly's first team in 2000, had successful journeys playing abroad in Europe with Feyenoord, Tottenham Hotspur, Derby County and Lierse before settling down at his boyhood club since 2014.
Meanwhile, despite Saudi reports linking the player with a move to the Saudi side Al-Fateh, Egyptian reports suggest that Ahly will contract the player in the upcoming few hours as the winter transfer window in the Egyptian Premier League ends Wednesday.
