Egyptian giants Ahly announced on Wednesday that they have accepted an offer from Jeddah-based club Al-Ahli to sign playmaker Abdallah El-Said next season.
El-Said spent a short loan spell with Finnish club Kuopion Palloseura, which lasted around 40 days, after falling out with Ahly in March over his abrupt decision to sign for arch-rivals Zamalek.
He then reversed his Zamalek move, extending his contract with Ahly instead. However, the Red Devils opted to send him out on loan as a disciplinary measure and said they would put him up for sale in the summer.
The 32-year-old star played an instrumental role in helping Egypt reach the World Cup after a 28-year absence. He is considered one of the pillars of the Pharaohs' squad.
