International defender Mahoumd Fathallah has been ruled out of the game against Beni Suef Telephones in Monday's 10th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League after incurring a muscle injury during training.

“Fathallah needs to complete his rehab to recover from his muscle injury,” Zamalek’s doctor Ayman Farid was quoted as saying on the official club website.

The 29-year-old stopper had been ruled out form the Whites’ 3-1 win over Arab Contractors with the same muscle problems, but he had been expected to be fit for Monday’s match against Beni Suef Telephones.

Zamalek are seventh in the Egyptian Premier League table with 13 points.
