Algeria's Mouloudia have officially asked to buy back Ahly’s Algerian playmaker Amir Sayoud who is currently on loan with Ismaily. “Mouloudia sent us an official letter asking for the services of Sayoud. The technical staff didn’t decide about the offer yet and when that happens, the football committee will take the final decision,” Ahly’s football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told the club’s official web site.

The talented 21-year-old player joined Ismaliy this summer when Ahly agreed to loan him for one year after signing the Dervishes playmaker Abdullah El-Saied for three years. This season the Algerian Olympic national team star, who is always compared by Ahly supporters to their inspirational playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika, failed to impress with Ismaily, raising problems with the board.

The coastal side decided to officially end the Sayoud’s loan early, so he is likely to return to the Red Devils starting from January according to Abdel-Hafiz.
