Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids FC has amicably terminated the contract of the team's Brazilian coach Alberto Valentim due to technical reasons, the club announced on Friday.

Despite gaining seven points in three games in the Egyptian Premier League this season, Pyramids Club said in a statement that the Brazilian coach was informed of the club's management's decision and he agreed with the termination of the contract.

Pyramids Club, previously Assiouty Sports, also said in their statement that the new technical staff will be revealed on Saturday.

The new Egyptian franchise football team, who is owned by Saudi Minister of Sports Turki Al-Sheikh and other Saudi investors, has been undertaking a recruitment drive to strengthen its ranks ahead of the upcoming season.

Pyramids are third in the Egyptian Premier League table with seven points, sharing the same points as the table leaders Zamalek after playing three games.
