Pyramids’ Brazilian striker Eduardo leaves to Palmeiras

Carlos Eduardo of Egyptian side Pyramids FC has joined Palmeiras on a 5-year contract according to a statement issued by the Brazilian club.

The 22-year-old forward joined Pyramids last summer, scoring only one goal in 10 league appearances with the team so far.

Eduardo’s departure leaves Pyramids with four foreign players, namely Nigerian midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu, Brazilian midfielder Rodriguinho Marinho and Brazilian winger Keno as well as their new signing from Maqassa the Burkinabe winger Eric Traore.

Pyramids are second of the Egyptian league table with 29 points, 6 adrift of leaders Zamalek.
