Ahly Coach Manuel Jose has included striker Emad Meteb and winger Mohamed Barakat in his squad, which is scheduled to play Masry in the 17th matchday on Wednesday.

The duo, who have been sidelined in recent weeks due to injuries, are set to give the Portuguese tactician more options upfront, especially after the recent injury of Walid Soliman and Mauritanian striker Dominique Da Silva.

Jose's list also included – for the first time – new signing Ahmed Farag and defender Mohamed Naguib, who has finally recovered from a knee injury that had kept him off the green since last November.

Naguib will come to the rescue following the injury of versatile and experienced central back Wael Gomaa and Ahmed El-Sayed, who is currently serving a one-match ban after having been sent off against Arab Contractors last week.

The 18-man squad list:

Goalkeepers:Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim, Sherif Ekramy

Defenders:Sherif Abdel-Fadil, Ahmed Fathy, Ahmed Shedid Kenawy, Sayed Moawad, Mohamed Naguib

Midfielders:Mohamed Abou-Treika, Shehab Eddine Ahmed, Hossam Ashour, Mohamed Barakat, Abdallah El-Saied, Ahmed Farag, Hossam Ghali

Forwards:El-Sayed Hamdy, Fabio Junior, Emad Meteb, Mohamed Nagy "Gedo"
