Masry started their Confederation Cup campaign in style, outclassing Malindi of Zanzibar 4-1 away in the first leg of the competition's round 32 on Sunday.
Palestinian Striker Mahmoud Wadi scored a hat trick on 27, 41 and 52 minutes and midfielder Hassan Ali was also on target as Masry enjoyed a comfortable advantage that put them within touching distance of a place in the group stage.
They will host Malindi in the second leg in Port Said in a fortnight.
Masry, who are bidding for their first continental title, reached the Confederation Cup semis in 2018 but lost 4-0 on aggregate to DR Congo's Vita Club.
