Zamalek are hoping to welcome back their injured players for the home match against Tanzania’s Young Africans in the CAF Champions League on 3 March.

“Coach Hassan Shehata is working on a rehabilitation programme for many players who missed the 1-1 away draw [in the first leg] due to injury,” the Whites assistant coach Osama Nabih told Ahram Online.

“The technical staff knew the strengths and weaknesses of the Tanzanian team and our mission on 3 March will be easier,” Nabih added, referring to the recovery of injured midfielders Mahmud Abdel-Razik “Shikabala” and Ahmed Hassan. Attacking due Amr Zaki and Ahmed Hossam “Mido,” who are returning to top form, are also expected to play an important role.
