Enppi management have reached an agreement with Helmi Toulan to replace Ali Maher, who resigned his role as coach this week.
Toulan, 69, is one of the most experienced coaches in the league, with multiple stints managing Cairo giants Zamalek in the past.
Maher became the first coach in the Egyptian Premier League to resign this season when he stepped down on Friday after a 1-0 loss to El-Entag El-Harby.
"We accepted the resignation of Ali Maher and we wish him a great future," read an Enppi statement released on Friday.
"The management has reached an agreement with coach Hemi Toulan to be in charge of the team," the statement added.
Enppi are in the lower part of the league table with only one point after playing four games so far this season.
